Our Services
The Green Goat provides professional lawn care services and is dedicated to the residential communities and other small businesses in and around Pickerington, Reynoldsburg and Pataskala, Ohio on Columbus, Ohio's east side. Our services are designed to accomplish two goals: Provide a quality service using some of the best equipment the industry has to offer and be affordable and convenient for our customers.
Lawn Maintenance
This is our staple service. In our region, we typically mow 28 to 30 times each season between April and November. The wet springs will sometimes require more frequent mowing while our dry summers will have us holding back on a stressed lawn. Either way, we try to accommodate the type of grass in your lawn and the conditions it grows in.

Pricing starts at $35 for 5000 Sq. Ft.
Aeration
Aeration is used to loosen compacted soils in a stressed lawn. Our machine pulls approximately 9 plugs per sq. ft. The rain, mowing and traffic breaks down these plugs adding the nutrients back into the lawn. Overseeding often accompanies an aeration allowing the grass seed to fall or be washed into the plug and establish new growth in thinning or stressed areas. The result is a thicker lawn and healthier top soil layer.

Plus $10 for each additional 1000 sq. ft.

Dethatching
Thatch is a layer of dead plant material that builds up at the base of your lawn. A healthy thatch layer of about a half inch is beneficial in protecting the grass blades at their base and insulating the soil from erosion. Once the thatch layer builds up to an inch or more, it can choke out your lawn causing it to thin. Dethatching uses a power rake to pull up some of the thatch and removing it to establish a healthier layer in your lawn.

Landscape Maintenace
Along with our lawncare services, we also provide routine maintenace of landscapes around your home and property. This includes edging, mulching, trimming bushes and hedges and pruning ornamentals and other small trees. We leave the large tree work to the professionals in that field. Seasonal packages to include all of our lawn and landscape services are available and customizable.
